Experience

Isabelle focuses her practice on representing and defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in matters before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission and on appeals in courts throughout Maryland. She defends clients in all stages of the workers’ compensation process, from inception and through the appeals process.

Immediately prior to joining Tarpine, Heller & Pendergrass, Isabelle worked in private practice where she handled a large volume of workers’ compensation, personal injury litigation matters, representing claimants, and plaintiffs. Isabelle started her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Julia A. Martz-Fisher of the Circuit Court for Frederick County.

During law school, Isabelle worked as a student attorney in the Immigration Clinic, competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, and was a member of her Student Bar Associations’ Executive Board.
